ALAZ FILM is an independent production company founded by Atilla Salih Yücer and Kamen Velkovsky based in Türkiye, Portugal, Bulgaria and the United States. The company’s main focus is on under-represented voices and stories from around the world while also developing new material with established directors internationally.
Yücer and Velkovsky have extensive experience as producers and assistant directors, working with acclaimed filmmakers such as Steve McQueen (Shame), Wes Anderson (Asteroid City), David Gordon Green (Joe, Manglehorn, Halloween trilogy), Jim Jarmusch (The Dead Don't Die), Yorgos Lanthimos (The Killing of a Sacred Deer, The Favourite), Arnaud Desplechin (Jimmy P.), Mira Nair (Queen of Katwe), David Chase (The Many Saints of Newark), Todd Solondz (Dark Horse), and Errol Morris (Wormwood, The Pigeon Tunnel, My Psychedelic Love Story, American Dharma, Separated).
Current films include: Joachim Trier's Sentimental Value, which earned Grand Prix honors at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, and has received nine 2026 Academy Award nominations including Best Picture and eight Golden Globe nominations including a Best Supporting Actor win for Stellan Skarsgård. · Jim Jarmusch's Father, Mother, Sister, Brother which earned the Golden Lion Award at the 2025 Venice International Film Festival. · Arnaud Desplechin's Two Pianos, which premiered at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival. · And Rezan Yesilbas’ debut film The Flying Meatball Maker, with lead actor Nazmi Kirik earning Best Actor honors at the 2025 Istanbul International Film Festival.
Films in early pre-production and in development include new features from Desplechin, Solondz, Green and Morris; as well as Sara Driver, Danis Tanović, Maria Camila Arias and Susanna de la Salla.

BANDO À PARTE is a production company based in Portugal, producing full-length and short fiction films, documentaries and animated works. Over the years we have co-produced projects with partners worldwide from Germany, Finland, France, England, Brazil, Argentina, United States and most recently from Mozambique and Japan.

Recent releases include Babak Anvari’s HALLOW ROAD starring Rosamund Pike and Matthew Rhys and Jim Jarmusch’s FATHER MOTHER SISTER BROTHER starring Tom Waits, Adam Driver, Mayim Bialik, Charlotte Rampling, Cate Blanchett, Vicky Krieps, Indya Moore and Luka Sabbat. In September 2025, the latter film won the Golden Lion at the 82nd Venice Biennale.
